ABOUT US

Aims and Values of the Organisation

At Hands of Rescue we will Aim
  • To provide a broad and balanced support system by planning as an organisation and as a team. Also as a Faith based organisation, our aim is to maintain our embrace of others without faith across the cultural community.

  • To provide a stable, secure, happy, and well-balanced organisation that reflects, social cohesion, diversity and cultural awareness. We will not force anyone to follow our beliefs but at the same time, we will endeavor to ensure others understand ‘Hands of Rescue’ has values, and that these values are where we embrace anyone who falls into the category identified above by treating them with Love, care, support, and respect regardless of their colour, race or creed.

  • We will endeavor to help men and women to develop physically, mentally, emotionally, and economically by putting an infrastructure in place that can help those who lack skills to learn skills to empower them to live independent lives.

  • Where there are needs for self-development, we will ensure that the best training is provided and will also signpost individuals to other agencies where help can be accessed.

  • To promote the care and respect of others regardless of their colour, gender, culture, class, religion, or disability whether in the organisation or in the community.

  • To teach women and men how to respect each other, their properties, and their possessions.

  • To teach individuals the importance of taking responsibility for their own actions, as an individual or a member of the community.

  • To ensure that individuals are supported to the best of our ability and to give accurate information when needed. Additionally, it encourages individuals to strive for the best and to ensure this happens.

  • To celebrate the achievements and individuals and to ensure they integrate back into society with confidence.

  • To provide resources that will help individuals to become the person they are destined to be.
